  • William E. Swiger and Alice Hooper were married on September 21, 1865 in Harrison, West Virginia. Both were 19 and single.
  • William E. Swiger and Virginia (Ash) Cutright Swiger married on March 4, 1924 in Wetzel, West Virginia by Rev. W. A. Cornwell in the home of the bride. The witnesses were Hazel Cutright and Dessie Seckman.
