Biography

Flora was born in 1854. She was the daughter of Edward Swinney and Mary Hall.^[1]

Flora lived with her parents and siblings in Devon, England. In 1871 she was aged 17 and single. Her occupation was recorded as Draper's Assistant.

Her father passed away in 1896.

At the age of about 45 she married Henry Thomas Matthews on 22 December 1900 in Christ Church, Plymouth, Devon, England.^[2]

Unlikely they had children.

UK Census Date 1911: Living in Seaforth, Seaforth, Lancashire, England. Aged 56 and married. Also in the household was her brother Frederick.

She probably passed away in 1912 at the age of 57. ^[3]
