Alexander Sydenham was born about 1530 in Abbots Leigh, Somerset, England, son of John Sydenham (~1490– ).
Alexander married Ann Sydenham (born about 1529 in Brimpton, Somerset; daughter of John Sydenham MP and Ursula (Brydges) Sydenham). Their daughter was Elizabeth Sydenham (1562–<1595).
Alexander died before November 27, 1584, aged about 53.
He is an ancestor of Prince William, the Duke of Cambridge.
