Michael Silvester was born in 1714. He was the son of Amos and Elizabeth Silvester. Michael inherited from his father Amos the land and a house. He and his second wife built a larger typical center chimney colonial in 1763 as the original house burned in 1762. Michael took part in the Revolution going to Cohasset and Rhode Island and in 1776 Fort Ticonderoga. His youngest son Robert inherited the house.
Michael passed away in 1798. He is buried in the Hanover Center Cemetery in Hanover, Plymouth County, Massachusetts, USA.
