Biography
Wilhelmina Jeanetta Magadalena was born on 22 November 1911 in Bothaville, Orange Free State; she was the daughter of James Daniel Symington and Elizabeth Cecilia Louisa Tromp.
She was a nurse, 25 years old, when she married 26 year old barber Christian Jacobus Welgemoed, in Grahamstown, Cape Province, on 24 April 1937.[1]

In 1984 she was working as a nurse in Grahamstown and was resident at 6 Thackeray Street, Grahamstown.[2]
Wilhelmina was 87 years old when she passed away on 4 May 1999; she is buried in the Port Elizabeth Forest Hill Cemetery:[3][4]
