Frances "Fanny" Louisa Symmes, the daughter of Marshall Symmes and Abbie Stowell, was born in Medford, Massachusetts, on April 26, 1847 (some records cite 1848, but that disagrees with her stated age at death). She died of "dysentery" in Medford on August 26, 1849, at the age of 2 years, 4 months.[1][2][3][4]
