However by the 1881 census Anna Maria had died and Edmund was living with two children and two sisters in law in Holkham, Norfolk. He was working as a vermin killer.[6]
On 25 Mar 1883 Edmund married again, to Ellen Fordham, in Thingoe, Suffolk.[7][8]
By the 1891 census Edmund and Ellen were living in Warham St Mary, Norfolk, with a total of seven children. Edmund was now working as a game keeper.[9]
In the 1901 census the couple were still living in Warham with their children. Edmund was still working as a game keeper.[10]
In 1911 the couple were still in Warham with their three youngest children. Edmund was still a game keeper.[11]
Edmund died on 27 April 1933 in Warham. He was 81 years old.[12]
Probate was granted on 24 May to Robert William Symonds, game keeper.[13]
