Joseph (24) married Lucia Dulak (24) (born about 1855 in Karthaus, Germany) in 1880 in Sullenschin, Karthaus. Their daughter was Clara Schulta (1880–1922).
Joseph passed away on 20 November 1923 in Winona, Winona, Minnesota, United States, aged 67. He was buried in Saint Marys Cemetery, Winona, Winona County, Minnesota.[1][2]
