Biography
Rosamond Maria Tabor was a daughter of Edward C. Tabor and his wife Nancy, born in Mount Tabor, Vermont, on 19 April 1825.[1]
Her married name was Cook.
The 1870 U.S. Census recorded Rosimond Cook, age 44, in Benton Township, Eaton County, Michigan, with children Newton Cook, 12, and Ida Cook, 10, and Daniel Vickery, age 27 and a farmer. Rosimond was born in Vermont and the others were born in Michigan. Rosimond had real estate valued at $2500 and personal estate of $800.[2]
The 1900 U.S. Census found 75-year-old widow Rosamond Cook living as mother-in-law in the household of 61-year-old Daniel Vickery and his 40-year-old wife Ida Vickery in Charlotte city, Eaton Township, Eaton County, Michigan. She was a native of Vermont, born in April 1825, whose parents were also born in Vermont. She reported having had 9 children, of whom 4 were living.[3]
Rosamund Maria Cook died in Charlotte, Eaton County, Michigan, on 22 January 1907.[4]
