Biography
This profile is part of the Taft Name Study.
John Clyde Taft was born about July 20, 1885 in Allen, Allegany, New York.[1] He was the son of Eli Taft and Emma Hawks Taft.[2]
He was married to Blanche (Timothy) Aylor on December 1, 1911 in Nunda, Livingston, New York at the age of 28. It was his first marriage and her second marriage. He was working as a farmer at the time.[2]
John died on September 5, 1956 in Elmira, Chemung, New York at the age of 71.[3] He was buried at Woodlawn Cemetery in Elmira, Chemung, New York.[4]
