Biography

Silas Taft was born 2 January 1779 in Uxbridge, Massachusetts. He was the son of Silas Taft and Elizabeth Cruff. [1]

Silas married Silvy last name unknown in New York about 1804; they had two known children:

  1. Isaac Taft[2] 1806-1875
  2. Martha Taft[3][4] 1818- unk. married Uriah S Price

Silas passed away in Bruce, Macomb, Michigan after 1850. [3]
