MRS. MARTHA T. CRETORS

XENIA — Services were held Wednesday in the Neeld funeral home here for Mrs. Martha Taggart Cretors, widow of Cheney Cretors, and former Xenian, who died Sunday in Evanston, Ill. Burial was in Woodland Cemetery.

Mrs. Cretors was the sister of the late Thomas Taggart, one-time Democratic senator from lndiana and owner and promoter of the famed French Lick Springs at French Lick, Ind.

The last member of her immediate family, she was born in Xenia and passed her early life here. Her husband formerly operated a wallpaper store on Green st. From Xenia, the couple moved to Springfield. They were in Panama for a time when the Panama Canal was built. Following the death of her husband, Mrs. Cretors had made her home with her children, Fred of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Julius Trefz in Evanston, where she was residing when she died.

Other survivors include four grandchildren. Mrs. F. M. Torrence, Xenia; Mrs. Dillencourt, Cincinnati, and Mrs. Lawrence Laybourne, Springfield, are nieces and Mrs. J. H. Littell, Xenia, is a cousin.
