Mary Jane Taggart was the sixth child of James Taggart (Jr.) and Jane Weddle Taggart. She was born 8 Sep 1837 in Nashville, Brown, Indiana, USA. On 28 June 1855 she married Martin B. Jackson, in Brown County, Indiana. Their children were: Lavina C “Vinnie” Jackson (1857–1922) John F Jackson (1858–1941) Dora Jane Jackson (1866–1943) Lottie R. Jackson (1872–) William Martin Jackson (1874–) Mary E. Jackson (1877–) Between 1870 and 1880 the family moved to Illinois, and Mary Jane resided there until she died. In 1902 she married (2nd) Zenus R. Jones, in Henry, Illinois. (The marriage record lists her parents' names, so I know this is her.) She died on 23 Nov 1919 in Paris, Edgar, Illinois, USA
