Elizabeth Mills (married name Stonehouse) was born in 1864 in the Colony of Victoria, the daughter of George Mills and Elizabeth Kennedy.^[1]

Elizabeth Mills (now Tait) married William Edward Stonehouse in 1885 in Victoria, Australia.^{[2] [3]}

Their son was:

• George Henry Stonehouse (1886–1954)

She passed away in 1935, aged 70.^[4]

She is buried in the Warrnambool Cemetery.^[5]
