Hezekiah, age 80, appears in the 1860 Federal census in Pike couty, Alabama, as head of household. Hezekiah's wife Cathernie, age 60, is listed in the household. There are no other individuals listed in the household.
Hezekiah made his last Will & Testament in Pike county, Alabama on the 18th day of January, 1856. The Will reads in part: "The State of Alabama, Pike County . . . I give to my beloved wife Catherine her bed and furniture and then to have an equal share with the rest of my children (to wit) Edmund Talbot and Joel Talbot and Rachael Collinsworth her lifetime and then to the heirs of her body and sarah Colllinsworth children and Benjamin Talbot and to Hezekiah Talbot all of which is my wife and children and Grandchildren, I want my property equally divided between them giving my wife her Bed and furniture extra I appoint my son Joel Talbot Execytor to my will which is my last will and testament. signed sealed in the of January 18th 1856 Hezekiah Talbot X his mark . . . (witnesses) Burwell W. Griffin, William Mitchell, Isaac Kirksey." Hezekiah's will was presented for probate in Pike county, Alabama Probate Court on the 16th of December, 1861.
Hezekiah died sometime in 1861 based on his will being presented for probate in December, 1861.
