Nancy Frances Talbot was born 25 January 1854 and baptised on 5 March 1854 at Madras, India. Her father was James Talbot and her mother was Montmie [I believe this should be Montime].^[1]

[I think there is a typo in the transcription and it should read 1845 not 1854]. I can find no other records for children of James and Montime apart from Richard Alexander and Nancy. The only death record for James is in 1845. I don't have access to the original image to compare the entry]

Nancy Frances Talbot married William Anthony Rodgers on 19 January 1871 in Madras, India. She was 17 and William was 22. Her father is listed as John V. Montin Talbot but this might be a transcription error for John & Montime Talbot. If her father was know as Jack then it’s possible the correct firstname was guessed at and John selected instead of James.^[2]
