Hi Richard. I'm a bit new to WikiTree, but it looks as if you're the go-to guy regarding all about "Tallent's". It wasn't long ago I discovered that my Tallent ancestors came to KY via NC. I am descended from Sarah Flake & Jesse Aaron Tallent, and have only the family tree info gleaned from the LDS church. I would love to see a tree compiled by a Tallent who knows the info is correct. Hello Richard, I'm wondering if you have any source information on a Terrell branch that you added about 10 years ago? They migrated from NC to GA after the Civil War...in particular we are trying to pin down Thompson, John Thompson and John Simon--one apparently born in NC, the others in GA post war...

Hi it appears that some of the Raper family profiles can be merged as they are the same people. Raper-85 and Raper-304 look like they are the same I set an unmerged match.

Please do NOT take any of the Tallant family information prior to around 1830 as gospel. I do most of my research on Ancestry.com, and have not found a way to either mass-delete those earlier branches or replace them from Ancestry.

I know in particular that I have a number of relationships confused in the late 1700s in Anson County. I've been working them out privately in other software, and hope to someday come back and update them.

If you have questions about particular Tallants of that time, I would be happy to share what I know so far via email, I just don't have time to keep the tree up to date here.
