Notes

I can't find a source of the relationship between Susan and 3 of the children listed on this profile, Elizabeth, Mark and Samantha. All other children can be found in the census records, and Susan's obituary only mentions 10 children. I am unsure if these children belong to her or not.

MRS. SUSAN BRICKER, wife of ex-Justice of the Peace Jacob S. Bricker,died at
her home in Shimpstown, Montgomery township, Jan. 31, just as she hadrounded
out the 78th year of her life. She had been suffering for years fromdropsical
troubles but had been going about, until the day of her death. Mrs.Bricker's
maiden name was Tallman. Her wedded life extended through a period of 52years.
Six sons and three daughters of her ten children survive her. A host of
grandchildren and some great-grandchildren are numbered among thedescendents.
She was a kind, motherly, home-loving woman, devoted to her husband andfamily.
She was carried to her last resting place in Mercersburg cemetery on theTuesday
following her death, Rev. C. A. Santee, of the Mercersburg Reformedchurch,
conducting the funeral exercises.
