I am sorry. But I do not have any Davids in my line. My great-grandmother was a Scull so that already goes back a ways.

Excuse me but are you related to a guy named David Scull? I have a Great Grand Uncle named David Scull.

Hi I saw that you were attached to Mary Geri's profile. I am first, looking for the right Geri family but also what her relationship really was to my family. I recently discovered that my family is from Russia. Also Jewish but i knew this already. Anyways what I found was in the 1940 Manhattan census, my great grandfather hired her?, as a maid. What really interested me was she was born in Hungry and was living with my family during WWII. You wouldn't happen to have any information about her assuming this is the right person. All i know about her is she has a younger sister Ann Geri. If this has nothing to do with you, i am sorry. I would appreciate any information. Thanks.

Thank you Beverly ... glad you found it helpful and hope you now have the confidence to try these things out yourself. The preview button always allows you to see what you’ve done before you commit to any changes.

Peace & Love, Dave

Thanks for your note Beverly. I hope you are using Wikitree for your unfocused project ! If we get enough of us working on everything, eventually everything will get done.

Thank you, Beverly. I did the same thing when I first joined. I remember I was answering some question in the G2G feed when I responded that I had removed those tags. The founder of Wikitree, Chris, very nicely asked me to please stop doing that!

Now that Ales, who apparently is Wikitree's computer whiz, has developed ways to search the profiles for errors, the Data Doctors group participates in weekly challenges to fix the errors - concentrating on different errors each week. I belong to the group, so this week I have been correcting the Sources reference tag as part of the challenge. I have corrected 1824 so far!

It is nice to be appreciated by the managers of the profiles we correct. Most of the time we get negative feedback from people, if any at all.

I would be very happy to help you if you need any help in the future. I certainly don't know everything but I have been a participant for almost three years now. What can I say - I am addicted!

Thanks again for your kind words.

Best regards,

Carolyn Martin

Hi Beverly, I think you sent me a message earlier today about the Global Reunion (you weren't signed into wikitree, so I am using the name in the email). We would love to have you on the project. You can work wherever you feel comfortable-just let me know and whatever you enter put in the biography to keep track of them. I will remove it once it looks like research is complete enough, otherwise it gives others the chance to step in and help, as well.

If it was a different Beverly, let me know!

Beverly, you can also send David an invitation from his original profile page you created for him. As long as his guest membership isn't confirmed (as long as he doesn't volunteer) the duplicate profile will eventually be deleted. Select the privacy tab on his original profile page and scroll down to 'Add to Trusted List.' From there you can enter his email address and he'll be sent an invitation to join without having to go through the normal registration process because he will be joining as a family member of yours.

Hi, Beverly. Either one of you can scroll to the bottom of one of David's profile pages and initiate a merge. A merge request email will be sent to the other and he can okay it. Make sure the smaller (original) ID is in the bottom space of the merge request form so the duplicate will be merged into the original. After the merge is completed, you can click the privacy tab and remove yourself as manager, but make sure David is listed as the manager before you remove yourself. :)
