Biography

1776 Project
Private Thomas Tanner served with 2nd Regiment, Kings County Militia, Rhode Island Militia during the American Revolution.

Thomas was born in 1740. He was the son of William Tanner and Martha Hill. [1]

He married Mary Whitford in 1762. [2]

Between 1790 an 1800 they moved from Rhode Island to New York. [3][4][5]

Thomas died in 1824. [6]
