Biography

Caspar was born Jun 1, 1800 was baptised Jun 25 at the Dutch Reformed Church in Lunenburg. He is the son of Johan Jacob Tanner and Anna Maria Barbara Krauss.[1]

He married Gertrude Whynacht on Jan 1, 1822 at the Dutch Reformed Church. They both died, falling through the ice, Jan 30, 1852.[1] They were taking a short-cut home from a visit with a relative. Casper and his brother, Johan Jacob, married sisters, Anna Gertrude, and Anna Elizabeth Whynacht.
