Daniel was born in 1844 reg no 362 [1]. He was the son of John Tanner and Catherine Delaney. He died in 1925 reg no 11885[2].
In 1907 Daniel and his wife , together with Catherine Ellen Tanner, sailed via South Africa for ireland and the UK to visit relatives. They returned through Sues and via Celon for Melbourne.
Daniel lived for many years at Hanson South where he carried on general farming. He retired to 48 Wilson Road Wangaratta about 1922.
