Birth and parents : Lucy, daughter of Thomas and Mary Tanner of North Bradley, Wiltshire, was baptised on 5 Sep 1779,[1][2] and is presumed to have been born somewhat earlier.
Marriage and children : Lucy married (1st) Samuel Smith, also of the parish of North Bradley, Wiltshire, in 1807.[3] They were the parents of :
Samuel died in 1827, and Lucy remarried in 1832 to a widower, Job Purnell (1767-1833),[5] who died just a year after their marriage. Lucy married for the third time, to John Holwell, in 1835.[6]
1851 : In Trowbridge, Wiltshire : William Huntley (weaver, age 47, b. Trowbridge), with wife Elizabeth (age 42), children Elizabeth (age 16), Simion (age 12), and Sarah (age 3), all b. Trowbridge. Also in the household are William's married daughter, Ann Blanchard (age 18) and his mother-in-law Lucy Howwell (age 73).[2]
