(1924). DIVORCE. Mrs. Doreen Taplin for a dissolution of her marriage to Leonard Thomas Eaton Taplin on the grounds of the man's adultery. Taplin was a pilot with the Airways Co.. whose aeroplanes are flown from Perth to Derby. At the hearing the petitioner stated that her husband allowed her £3 per week. This morning Mr. Justice Northmore pronounced a decree absolute in respect to the petition. For Mrs. Taplin a motion to confirm permanent maintenance was moved by Mr. M. G. Lavan. It was shown that Taplin had agreed to pay £3 10s per week to his wife so long as she remained unmarried. The motion was allowed.
