Story Hampton died from a fall off a wagon.

At an earlier date, unbeknownst to Thenia, he had drawn out all their money from from the bank and had buried it.

When he was dying, he tried to tell them where it was, they thought he was delirious.

They never found the money.

The old farm they lived on had once been owned by Barnham & Bailey Circus. They used to winter their animals there.
