Adam Tate, son of Adam Tate and Marie Hayes, was from Mobile, Alabama and was probably born about 1780.[1]
He married Marie Louise Fontenot, daughter of Joseph LaRose Fontenot and Magdeleine Hayes, on 22 April 1799, their marriage was recorded at St. Landry Catholic Church, Opelousas, St. Landry Parish, Louisiana.[1]
