James, born in May of 1743, was the son of Mary and Edward Tatlock. Mary and James were married about 1770 and had a daughter Pegga on 29th of April, 1773.Pegga died on 9 Sept 1791 [1] On Dec 16 of 1775, James sold 100a on NE side of Perquimans River, to Joseph Williams [2]
