Thanks for showing Scotland as one of your interests. If you haven’t yet done so, please join the Scotland project via the G-2-G topic. I hope you get a great deal of pleasure collaborating with colleagues in this great project. If you have any questions or wish any advice either send me a private message or email me.
Hi Lisa,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Pre-1700 ancestors can be shared by many descendants, so collaboration is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

The Scotland Project may fit your research focus. If not, use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find other possibilities. Review the project page to learn about resources and guidelines as well as how to collaborate with the project members.

Have questions? Ask in the comments section of my profile.

Remember to cite reliable sources in pre-1700 profiles you manage, or edit. (See: Pre-1700 Reliable Sources).

I propose to be part of the 1700s group because I have a lot of folks that are pre 1700s on my family tree on my father's side and needed access

Hi Lisa

First welcome to WikiTree, I saw that you just joined WikiTree in April. Glad to have you aboard.

The reason I am writing is that I noticed you chose our Integrators Challenge for this month under the name of "John Clarke: a profile you adopted. I think you put his ID number instead of yours when you went to select the challenge Not sure how you are doing that, but now there are three profiles listed under John Clarke, a non member, that you adopted. His profile:

Being that you have not become fully noted as a WikiTree geneogolist and not really familar with how we do things yet, please note that the Integrator challenge is an advanced challenge that we offer. I stronly suggest that when you complete a new profile for one of your relatives just skip over checking a challenge when trying to save the profile. If you have any questions please get with a greeter or mentor and they will be glad to help you along the way.

Dorothy B. Integrator Project Coordinator.

PS: Also noted is that your surname has a 's at the end (Taylor's), I believe it should just be Taylor as your "last name at birth" so you may want to correct that when you have time.

Hi Lisa,

Thanks for having a big heart and adopting the Orphaned Profiles. This After Adopting Orphans FAQ explains the special attention adopted profiles will sometimes need.

Let me know if you have any questions on how to find and record sources, merge duplicates, clean up GEDCOM biographies, and interpret the Suggestions report. I'm here to help!

Hi Lisa

Thank you for upgrading. I am pleased to welcome you as a member of the WikiTree family. Your contributions will go a long way to joining the world’s trees together.

I would suggest starting with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.

Please add as much information as you can, with sources, as it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.

The GEDCOMpare process guide has tips on how to use the data in your file most efficiently.

Have fun collaborating on your ancestors

Wendy ~ WikiTree Greeter

PS Please can you review your Last Name at Birth. It is unusual to include ‘s in a Surname. Many thanks
