Trees on Ancestry give a death date of 1900, without sources. There is a Civil War pension card for Abner available on Ancestry, and Christina was still alive when Abner died in 1891. Heritage-577 00:47, 6 April 2022 (UTC)

James seems to have married a Christina TAYLOR in Dalkieth SCT 1873, had two children in Edinburgh (1875/6) then another in 1881 PA, then several in Illinois, which would make it hard for Christina to have fitted in another marriage in 1874 in Illinois and another child.
