DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships by comparing test results with Keith or other carriers of his ancestors' Y-chromosome or mitochondrial DNA.
Y-chromosome DNA test-takers in his direct paternal line on WikiTree:
Keith Taylor:
Family Tree DNA Y-DNA Test 111 markers, haplogroup R-FGC11784, FTDNA kit #245910 +
Y-Chromosome Test, haplogroup R-Z343
Mitochondrial DNA test-takers in the direct maternal line:
Keith Taylor:
Family Tree DNA mtDNA Test Full Sequence, haplogroup H1af1a, FTDNA kit #245910
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Keith:
You and I are matching dna at 7.7 generations. I'm not sure which side of my tree due to the fact my dad's a Taylor and my mom's a Reeves. I noticed you manage profile Jeremiah Reeves-1318. You're Taylor line quickly jumps to England, I have reason to believe it is not going to be my Taylor line we connect on, my Taylor line was in Antrim Ireland in 1710 which is 6 generations from me. If I go out 9 generations my Taylor line is in Carlisle, Cumberland, England. There is currently a big Y dna Taylor project going on to help sort out the Taylor's on ftdna, you should join. Also, on ftdna there is a Y dna and autosomal dna Reeves project going on. If you descend from Reeves you should join that one as well.

Thank you, Keith, for volunteering to help grow our worldwide family tree. We've recently started a brick wall category page.
Our Honor Code, G2G message forum, help pages, and search features can be accessed from the links on the upper right corner of most pages.
VERY IMPORTANT:
The more documents, sources, dates, and locations you provide on the profiles you create, the stronger your branches and our mutual global tree will be. If you don't know the correct date, please estimate using before or after.
I have been building my tree for many years and there are lots of brick walls. Many of these have been broken down by collaboration with distant cousins but there is more work to do. Building a shared tree is the way to do that.
If you want to see if you have family here, check the SURNAME search box at the top of this profile page. You might want to check out the introductory WikiTree video that a member created.
If you want to join WikiTree and build a collaborative family tree, read the Honor Code, post a comment letting us know that you understand our genealogy mission on your profile and we will be glad to add you to Wikitree .

Thanks for making a start on adding dates to the profiles that didn't import correctly. You can see an updated list at https://www.softdata.si/wt/Err_20210530/ENG/851_0000-0000_0.htm

Thanks Mark
You have a couple of dozen profiles where the dates did not import correctly into wikitree. Probably the easiest way to see these is to go to https://www.softdata.si/wt/Err_20210502/ENG/851_0000-0000_0.htm and search on your user id (Taylor-14431).
If you could add in the dates that would be much appreciated.
