Reginald was born on 16 April 1896. His mother was Louisa Maud Taylor and his father was John William Taylor.
During the war Reginald Taylor was in the Rifle Brigade with service number 34454. His pre-war occupation was Driver. He served on the Western European Front for over 2 years, and was wounded in action, suffering gunshot wounds in the thigh and back.
He married Leah Eileen Shaw.
Reginald's occupation in later years was painter and wallpaper hanger.
He passed away in 1966. His plaque is in the Karori Cemetery in the Soldiers section, and on this it says he was 69 years old. He was buried on 24 February 1966 at Plot 30 M/5.
