Hampton Taylor was born on June 16, 1872 in Owsley County, Kentucky, United States, son of James Pendleton Taylor (1844–1896) and Manerva Jennings (1846–1928).
Hampton (33) married Lucy Ellen Halcomb (20) (born on February 10, 1886 in Jackson, Kentucky) on April 4, 1906 in Owsley, Kentucky.
Hampton died on December 20, 1963 in Owsley County, aged 91.[1]
