In 1860, the elderly Ira lived with his son, William [8].
Ira passed away on November 20th, 1862. He was buried in Locust Hill Cemetery in Montague [9]
Notes
Some marriage records state that Ira and Abigail married on October 30th, 1803 [10].
"I have heard our people say that some Taylor- I think it was Ira Taylor's father- lived in a house that stood only a short distance beyond Mr. Lyman's house (the Henry Rowe place) on the same side of the road. It was not far from the Lyman house. The Taylor site was called the Lawrence lot; before that, the Frink lot. Ira Taylor was a cousin of Henry Taylor." [11]
