Biography

Seth Taylor was born in Yorkshire, England.

Seth was born in Golcar, West Riding of Yorkshire, England, on December 23, 1877. He was the son of Ambrose Taylor and Martha Taylor. He was baptized in Golcar on May 15, 1878. His father passed away in 1897. Seth is enumerated in the 1901 census residing with his mother in Golcar.

Seth married Mary Emma Kaye in Golcar on April 24, 1904. The couple had three children between 1904 and 1911. It is unknown if additional children were born after 1911.

Seth passed away on November 19, 1956. His death was registered in Upper Agbrigg, West Riding. (Agbrigg is a suburb of the city of Wakefield).
