Biography

John Taylor, II was born in 1674, in Great Wicomico, Northumberland County, Virginia, a son of John Taylor born 1654, in Great Wicomico and his wife, Anne Veazey. About 1720, at St. Mary's White Chappell Parish, Lancaster County, Virginia, John married Catherine (maiden name not known) [1]

John Taylor, II wrote his Will on March 20, 1721, at St. Mary's White Chappell Parish, Lancaster County, Virginia and it was recorded on June 13, 1722. Legatees named in his Will were his wife, Catherine, named as Executrix, his son Joseph Taylor, bequeathed, "my plantation where I now live"; his daughter Anne and the youngest child, not yet christened. John also names his brothers, Moses, Benjamin and James Taylor. Witnesses were Robert Mitchel and William Cotes. [2]

Taylor-67850 and Taylor-3970 appear to represent the same person because: Son of Anne Veazey, who also needs to be merged

Taylor-67850 and Taylor-3970 do not represent the same person because: FamilySearch.org has two John Taylor children attached to the same parents:

1. This John William Taylor: https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/GH2D-PFL 2. And John Taylor, IV (supposedly married Elizabeth Paisley https://www.familysearch.org/tree/person/details/L12R-HN1
