Joseph was born about 1798 in Shepley, Yorkshire. His father was Tedbor Taylor. He was christened on 25 December 1798 at Kirkburton, Yorkshire, England. [1]

Joseph married Mary Rodger on 31 December 1820 at Darfield Yorkshire. [2]

In 1841 and 1851 they he lived at Highstone, Worsbrough, Yorkshire [3][4]

Joseph passed away in 1854. [5] He was buried on 30 January 1854 at Worsbrough, Yorkshire [6]
