Biography

Allen G.T. Taylor was born on 01 January 1879 in Belmont County, Ohio, United States. He is the son of Lemuel J. Taylor and Margaret Dunbar.^{[1] [2]}

This record should be viewed as a fictitious person. He almost certainly does not exist.

His brother Clyde B Taylor may have the same birth date (according to FamilySearch with no source) and parents. billiongraves.com does have a tombstone of Clyde B. Taylor with a full date of birth of Jan 1, 1879 which would support that Allen and Clyde were twins. If this is correct, he was either a twin or there is a naming problem and they are one and the same person. Census data is sufficient to show that Clyde was born in 1879 or 1880 so they could be two separate births.

If he was a twin or separate individual, Allen doesn't show up in the 1880 census so he likely died quite young, possibly at birth. His older sister Sadie/Sarah/Sallie shows up in the census as well as his younger brother Clyde. He also doesn't show up in the 1900 census so he wasn't simply missed.

Leading further to the conclusion that they are the same person is the fact that at age 60 his mother Margaret Taylor is shown as the mother of 8 children, six living. 8 children have been clearly identified counting Allen and Clyde as the same person. Mary and Giolia are th two deceased children.
