Hi Virginia,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Virginia,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi Virginia,

Congratulations on being Pre-1700 certified!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, coordination is essential. Thanks for joining the United Kingdom Project.

Hello Virginia,

Re: Taylor-46463

According to the marriage license on her profile the William Harper that Mary A Taylor, daughter of G W Taylor, had married was born 1873 in Mason and a son of Isaac Harper. You attached her to the William Harper that was born 1851 in Roane and son of Epperson Harper. Also the 1900 Census supports that the William Harper son of Epperson was married in 1883 not 1891. Both Eva and Harvey were born before 1891 and could not be the children of Mary A Taylor, daughter of G W Taylor.

For those reasons I will restore the correct Mary Ann Taylor as wife and mother, unless you have other considerations.

Thank you Virginia for volunteering, You are now a full member of the WikiTree community. I hope you will enjoy it as much as I do.

Please start with the New Member How-To - they are really useful as you add profiles and learn your way around. If the links in emails don't work correctly, check the public comments on your profile as the links will work from there.

If you click the green tags on your profile page, you'll see if there are other members following the surname. Add locations, Country, County or town the more tags you add the more links to community & research options

Take your time, and let me know if you need any help using the site. I'm always happy to answer questions.
