  • Find A Grave: Memorial #196731733 [Likely a hypothetical FAG Memorial. Includes a tombstone photograph as "James Taylor - PVT CO H 140 OVI" with no dates; along with links to the memorials of his parents and sister Lillian Leona Taylor Davis.]
  • Analysis by John Settles (a descendant of James Grandfather: "Death Certificate stated his occupation was plumber & carpenter. The transcribed information for this source (death certificate) states the father's name on death certificate was Jos. K. Taylor, but in looking at the original image it's clear there was an error in interpreting the handwritten original. I had no problem reading father's name (on original image) as Jas. K. Taylor (abbreviated in the original). The informant on the death record and father's name are what verifies this as a correctly matched source. The informant who provided information was Mrs. Lillian L. Davis, who was Thomas' sister. Her address listed as Neffs, Ohio. Neffs was in fact the home residence where the Taylors and son-in-law/daughter lived. The burial place from the death certificate is listed as St. Clairsville; it doesn't list any cemetery by name, only the town of burial. Thomas' parents and his sister and brother-in-law are all buried in the Methodist Cemetery in St. Clairsville, Ohio. So it seems likely that's where Thomas was probably buried as well. There isn't a Find A Grave Memorial. It's unknown whether there is a grave marker stone?"
