Bradley was born in Redfield, NY in 1880. He was the son of Henry and Lydia (Smith) Taylor. Bradley was living with and working as a farm hand for Edgar Woods in Clay, NY at the time of the 1900 US census. Interestingly, the Woods family lived next door to the Lucy Cowham, who would marry Bradley's brother Burney, the following year.
Bradley married Ruth Maude Balcom in 1908 in Redfield, NY. They were living in Mexico, NY by 1917. He was a farmer.

Bradley registered for the World War I draft in 1918 at the age of 37. He is described as medium height and build with blue eyes and brown hair.
Bradley died in Mexico, NY in 1964. He is buried in the Mexico Village Cemetery in Mexico, NY. He was 84 years old.
