Biography

It is unclear if Joel was the biological father of Reginald Taylor and Marjorie Taylor but it was highly likely that he was, and he was the only father figure they knew. He was acknowledged as a father held in high esteem per his memorial tribute in August 1906.

Joel's daughter Charlotte Cohen was born on 22 May 1886, about 7 months after Reginald.
