Please ignore the mother problem. I wasn't paying attention to which Donald Taylor I was entering the mother for.

Oops.

Hi Don,

Apologies that I did not respond sooner, I didn't get a notification letting me know you had posted the messages. You are not alone with this problem, I have made similar mistakes when adding information to people who have the same name, especially when the parents had the same name for 3 of their sons 🤔

Take care

Karen

Thank you for your welcome. I have already run into a problem entering my mother. She is still alive and I was named after my father. I got a message saying the child was born before the mother. How do I correct the source?

Thanks

Welcome back Don, and thank you for upgrading, 😊

I am very pleased to welcome you to the WikiTree family, your contributions will go a long way to joining the world together.

It is best to start with the New Member How-To pages, they will save you a lot of time and frustration.

I am here to answer any question you have, no matter how trivial you may think it is. There is no such thing as a silly question. Please add as much information as you can, it all helps to turn a “name” back into a person. I hope you enjoy the site as much as I do.

Thank you for adding your DNA to WikiTree. Getting the Best from DNA will tell you more about how DNA kits are used on WikiTree.

Happy tree climbing
