William Taylor was born on 17 September 1831 in Rose Hill, Covington, Alabama, United States, son of John Arnett Taylor (1806–1872) and Rebecca Carter (about 1808–1884).
William died on 29 August 1862 in Cants, Gants Co., Alabama, aged 30.[1]
