Biography
William Taylor was born on 17 September 1831 in Rose Hill, Covington, Alabama, United States, son of John Arnett Taylor (1806–1872) and Rebecca Carter (about 1808–1884).
William married Mary Elizabeth Carter (born on 31 March 1830 in Andalusia, Covington; daughter of Jackson Washington Carter and Winniford Jane (Sasser) Carter). Their children were:
- Rebecca Taylor (after 1849– ) .
- Winifred Jane Taylor (after 1849– ) .
- Mary Almira Emiline Taylor (1853–1922) .
- John Jasper Taylor (1855–1944) .
- William Wendell Taylor (1860–1946)
William died on 29 August 1862 in Cants, Gants Co., Alabama, aged 30.[1]
