The daughter of Thomas Taylor and Elizabeth ???, Ruth Taylor was born in around March 1795. She was baptised in Corscombe, Devon on 6 April 1795. [1]
She married William Elliott in Bridport, Dorset on 15 April 1821 [2]
They had eight children, all born in Bridport, Dorset:

3 Thomas Elliott (bapt 3 Apr 1825)
4 Dorcas Elliott (bapt 12 Oct 1827)

6 Eliza Elliott (baptised 3 Oct 1832)
7 Ruth Elliott (bapt 31 Jan 1835)
8 Samuel Elliott (bapt 3 Jun 1839)
William, Ruth, dau Ruth and son Samuel can be found in the 1851 census, living in Bridport. [3]
She died in Bridport in early March1856, and was buried on 10 March 1856. [4]
