Biography

George was born 5 April 1895. His parents were George Taylor and Mabel Jane Wills. [1] [2]

He served in the First World War.[3]

In 1931 he married Edna Brown.[4]

He passed away 23 Feb 1973. He is buried at Eastern Cemetery, Invercargill, in the same plot as his wife and some other family members. [5] [2]

The WW1 record includes:. George b. 23 Apr 1894 Invercargill, farm labourer; father George Taylor of Waikiwi. Death 23 Feb 1973 Invercargill, NOK Mrs T. Clarke, 229 Tay St, Invercargill.
