Taylor (born Ringgold 1856) married Eliza Ann Burgess born Iowa 1855 had a child (my great grandfather) born 1879 Ringgold) Maries Guy Taylor he married Maud S. Barnes lived most of their lives in Iowa Ringgold area than moved to Oregon and lived out the rest of their lives. Maries and Maud lived most of their lives and had all of their children in the Ringgold County area before moving to Oregon.

Mauries Guy Taylor and Maude Silvia Barnes. Mauries was the son of John W Taylor and Eliza Anne Burgess. He was born in Ringgold County, Iowa and he and his wife Maude married there on March 10, 1899.

They had 14 children born to them. Their first child was born and died before the 1900 US Census was taken and it is not known whether it was a boy or a girl. Their other children were:

(1) GUY TALLMAN TAYLOR – born Aug 29, 1900 in Iowa – died Dec 8, 1973 in Oregon. He married Minnie Mae Jobes (1892 – 1994).

(2) GEORGE ELLSWORTH TAYLOR – born Aug 8, 1902 in Iowa – died Nov 18, 1962 in Washington. He married Marjorie Arvilla Guess on Aug 10, 1962 – She was first married to his younger brother Arnold Lewis Taylor.

(3) CLARA FERN TAYLOR – born Jul 24, 1904 in Iowa – died Feb 20, 1992 in Oregon – Married Clyde Rue Caldwell (1902-1908)

(4) HAROLD GLEE TAYLOR – born Jul 5, 1906 in Iowa – died Jan 24, 1997 in Oregon – Married Cora Mae German (1913-1993)

(5) ARNOLD LEWIS TAYLOR – born May 22, 1908 in Sandpoint, Bonner County, Idaho – died Sep 1973 in Iowa. Married Marjorie Arvilla Guess (1909-1987). She later married his brother George Taylor.

(6) GOLDIE ELLEN TAYLOR – born Apr 5, 1910 in Iowa – died before 1915 in Iowa.
