About Drew

I'm an anthropologist and historian, who has always had a deep interest in the people of the past. Over the years I've cobbled together a fair bit of information on the people and stories belonging to my own ancestry, but I am increasingly interested in connecting those to the larger story of us all.

As these stories and ancestors have revealed themselves, I have been focused on providing context to the dates, names and migration patterns of the historical data. As such, I have gathered a good deal of work on the times of the people to whom I am related. I'm always happy to share that with others, and would be most pleased to help you contextualize your family story too. At the very least, maybe I can point you to some things that might be fun to think about.

Despite my training, I am still relatively new to the conventions of genealogical investigation, so I'll be leaning on you to help me learn the skills. If there is anything I can do to help your work, please let me know.

Hi Drew,

It's been a week since I first contacted you about the Categorization project. If I don't hear from you by August 14, I will assume that you don't wish to be part of the project any longer and will remove the badge. I thank you and look forward to hearing from you. Natalie, Categorization

I’m Natalie, a leader of the Categorization Project. Please have a look at the revamped Categorization Project page, specifically about the new team approach. Most members will be now be part of the Maintenance Team, and Project Liaisons and leaders will be involved in the Vision and Collaboration team. Please contact me within the next week to let me know if you would like remain an active member of the project in this capacity. If I don’t hear back from you I will assume you no longer want to be a part of the Categorization Project. Many thanks, Natalie

Hi Drew, (I think I made it to spell that right! :D),

I am so sorry we hardly know eachother although we are even "DRP sibiings"! :D

We re organizing a Special Annual Liberty Challenge next weekend. Challenges are great ways to get to know eachother better. There is no "need to" as it for fun. But feel free to join us please! Here is our invite:

Hey Hello!

How do you pass on freedom?

The DRP organizes our Annual Liberation Day Challenge again. Please join us!

Challenges are mainly meant to get to know each other better and to have fun with each other.

Again this year, we try again to give great resistance heroes a nice profile on WT, because they deserve it, also to provide them with ancestors and we also try to connect them to "our" WT.

Would you like to help? You are very welcome !

Hi Drew,

I was wondering if perhaps you would be interested to work on the Portal World-The Netherlands with Melissa and Bill and hopefully more members ? I was thinking maybe we can make it a sub Project of the Dutch Roots Project, where you all can add or work on more specific things related to the Netherlands you would like to see added there or work on.

If you are interested just add your name to the list and let me know, or you can of course contact Melissa or Bill directly.

Greets from the Netherlands,

Bea :)
