Biography
Joseph Bartlett Teas family moved to Iowa ca. 1833. All of his children by Julia Edwards were born in Iowa and the boys served in the Civil War from this state. Census records indicate they lived in Demoine County (Wisconsin Territory), Henry County, Davis County and Monroe County. This bible record was found in the Civil War pension file of Joseph Byron Teas (1844-1919).
Margaret was born in 1848. She was the daughter of Joseph Teas and Julia Edwards. She passed away in 1864. [1]
