Biography

Born the youngest child of Isham and Jane (Adams) Teasley in 1819, Alfred would be raised in Georgia.

He would marry twice in his life.

First Alfred married Sarah Ann Craft on January 9, 1840 in Elbert County, Georgia. Sarah was the daughter of Anderson and Lucy (Alexander) Craft. Second, after Sarah died in 1864, Alfred married Laura Elizabeth Haygood. the daughter of Simpson McEnville and Elizabeth B. (Garrison) Haygood, on December 26, 1866.
