We're very active on our social sites and we have an excellent blog where you'll find our monthly newsletter as well as tips, interviews with our members and guest posts from others in the genealogy community.
Try our Relationship Finder! It searches 20 generations. If you find a duplicate profile, the other managers are probably related. You can use this to find out how!
Our vision is to build a collaborative tree with one profile per person. The farther back you go, it's likely you will find existing profiles to link into so it's important to do a thorough search before adding someone!
Do you have Royal Ancestors? If so, they are already here! Please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their already existing profiles.
WikiTree strives to be a fun, collaborative, productive site. It's also different than what many people are used to. Please take advantage of the Help Menu in the upper right hand corner, and of course, our Mentors :)
I enjoy doing the research on my family. Sometimes it is very flustrating to not be able to find any information on an ancestor. I appreciate all the help I can find and am willing to offer any help that I can to others. I also do not like mistakes and strive for accuracy. Being a part of a research group like this would be very helpful. Thanks John
